Research Informatics is hosting a new workshop involving the Databricks and Artificial Intelligence Platform. This is an exciting event for intermediate to advanced Databricks users such as Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Analysts, Business Intelligence or Analytic professionals, Platform Administrators as well as Researchers.

In this afternoon session participants will engage in technical walkthroughs and live demonstrations that reflect how Databricks is used across KUMC to support research, clinical, operational, and reporting needs. This session will include applied data discovery with KUMC Use Cases. Live demos & guided walkthroughs with a deeper, hands-on exploration of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, participants will observe end-to-end demonstrations using KUMC datasets, which may include data discovery and exploration workflows and optimizing queries and notebooks for performance.
