K-INBRE Award Agreement

By accepting this award, I agree to the following terms.
Upon request, I will provide an update of my progress including:
* Information on NIH applications submitted or funded as a consequence of this K-INBRE award;
* Publications, presentations or inventions resulting from this award;
* Collaborations resulting from the award;
* Any follow-up information requested to satisfy NIH's requirements.
When K-INBRE funds have supported my research publications and presentations I will acknowledge the K-INBRE grant regardless of the time period between receipt of funding and publication/presentation. For these acknowledgements I will use the grant number P20 GM103418 or one of the following statements as appropriate:
"Research reported in this publication was supported by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number P20 GM103418. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors and does not necessarily represent the official views of the National Institutes of Health."

I will comply with the NIH Public Access Policy. Effective April 7, 2008, the NIH Public Access Policy will ensure that the public has access to the results of NIH funded research. Peer-reviewed articles accepted for publication on or after April 7, 2008, that resulted in whole or in part from NIH-funded research must be submitted to PubMed Central (PMC) repository upon acceptance for publication. Please note: For the K-INBRE Progress report, due in February of each year, all investigators, postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students participating on the project for more than 1 calendar month, will be required to have an ERA Commons User Name.
If you do not already have one, you can work with the sponsored programs office at your University to obtain one.
Once you receive your ERA Commons account, please log in to the ERA Commons homepage and complete the profile section.
If the profile section is not completed, an error message will be returned when the K-INBRE Progress Report is submitted.
I understand that an account will not be established until this form is submitted to the K-INBRE Administrative Office.
I will notify the K-INBRE Administrative Office if external funding is received that is related to the K-INBRE Award.
I will notify the K-INBRE Administrative Office if I will be leaving my University position before the end of the award year.
I also acknowledge that photographic, video, and other images and/or sound recordings of me may be made while I am a K-INBRE Awardee during this award cycle. I voluntarily and without further consideration grant the K-INBRE Administrative Core the full and unrestricted right to use my name and any and all of those images and recordings for trade, advertising and marketing purposes.
