Thank you for your interest in the Kansas 4M Interprofessional Age-Friendly Scholars Program. This program will immerse scholars in the principles of age-friendly care for older adults while completing their academic program's required longitudinal clinical practice rotation.
HRSA defines a longitudinal clinical practice rotation as as continuous clinical immersion in TTOUR (Tribal, Tribal organizations, underserved and/or rural) primary care sites and delivery systems for a duration of one eight-week or two four-week periods within an academic year. The rotations must be at least twenty hours per week per traineee. As each participating academic program's clinical rotations vary in the number of weeks and hours per week, HRSA has pre-approved qualifying clinical rotations by school or discipline.
The selected scholars will receive a stipend of $5,000 to support your training and help offset expenses incurred during your longitudinal clinical practice rotation. Stipend payments are contingent upon continued grant funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration and are subject to change based on funding availability.
